Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)); for cookies and embedded content use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77).

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. For every page view the server stores technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested address and browser in log files, to run the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are deleted after 7 days.

Statistics, cookies and embedded content

Statistics

This website counts visits with Wake's built-in statistics. No cookie is set and the IP address is not stored. IP address and browser identifier are turned into a value encrypted with a random key that changes daily, so after 24 hours it cannot be linked to anyone. Recorded are pages viewed, origin, reading time, scroll depth, language, device type, browser, operating system. The data does not leave our server. Raw data is deleted after 30 days.

Embedded services (only after a click or consent)

Contact by email

If you write to us, we use your details only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.
